Government of La Guiara provided resources for the execution of projects approved in 2025

The Bolivarian Government provided financial resources for the execution of second projects approved by 24 communes in the state of La Guaira during the Fourth National Popular Consultation of 2025, as part of the direct funding scheme for popular power.

Governor José Alejandro Terán, and the mayor of the Vargas municipality, José Manuel Suárez, stressed that these resources will make it possible to carry out prioritized works by the communities themselves to meet social and service needs.

“Thanks to this mechanism created by President Nicolás Maduro, participatory and direct democracy has deepened. In 2025 alone, 584 projects prioritized by communities were financed,” said the regional president.

He also explained that each initiative receives funding of approximately 10 thousand dollars, which represents a total investment of close to 5 million 840 thousand dollars directly managed by the popular power in La Guaira.

“Among the works carried out, there are programs to replace roofs, drinking water systems, wastewater, socio-productive projects, agricultural roads, sports fields and youth houses, selected through community voting,” reported the newspaper Úlmas Noticias.
