In a joint effort to strengthen public services in the state of Lara, the governor of the entity Luis Reyes Reyes, together with the mayor of the Palavecino municipality, Derby Guédez, led this Friday the activation of well number 3 in the Agua Viva parish, a work that will guarantee the supply of drinking water to more than 20,000 inhabitants.
During the day, the regional president reported that a new high-capacity pump was installed, which generates a flow of 63 liters per second, supplying the entire Agua Viva parish and part of the center of Cabudare, local media Kabudari reported.
“This is an effort aimed at improving public services and guaranteeing quality of life for our people, following the policies promoted by the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez, with the support of the Ministry of Water and Hydroven,” said Reyes Reyes.
In addition, an inspection was carried out on well number 2, where engine repair work is currently being carried out, which will allow a supply of 65 liters per second once the work has been completed.
As part of the agenda, the authorities also supervised the pumping station located in Colinas del Sur, a work that will benefit 246 families that for more than 30 years did not have regular drinking water service.
Additionally, a well located at the HIDROVEN facilities in the Palavecino municipality was reactivated, strengthening the local water system.
