The Government of Mérida, through the company Nevado Gas, distributed 2,825,937 liters of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) to 61,045 families in the state, guaranteeing supportive access to fuel used in homes for food preparation.

The Government of Mérida, in coordinated action with the state company Gas Comunal, promotes social organization to optimize this service, a task that integrates the Local Supply and Production Committees (CLAP), according to a press release from Nevado Gas.

Between June 3 and 8, 742,191 liters of LPG were distributed, at a rate of 626,022 liters for 14,532 families, in the form of container cylinders. Another 1,152 families were served with 48,385 liters of gas, in the form of bulk supply for tanks for community use.

To date, the total volume of gas distributed exceeds 2.8 million liters of LPG transported from the state of Falcón to the state of Mérida, a logistics operation that involves carrying out more than 60 trips in special tank-type mass transport units, with a unit capacity close to 40,000 liters of gas.
