Government of Ocumare de la Costa advances plan to clear and clean the La Trilla dam

Thanks to joint work between the Ministry of the People's Power for Water Care, the regional and local governments, the Pre-Rain Plan was launched in Ocumare de la Costa de Oro, in the state of Aragua.

This is a series of cleaning and desolving tasks, aimed at minimizing the negative impact of the coming rains on the country's coasts. It also includes dredging the dam located in the La Trilla sector of the road that connects Maracay to the coast, to optimize water collection, progressively moving along the riverbed.

“We have received the second jumbo truck, thanks to the National and Regional Government for the removal and maintenance of the dam,” said Wilmer Leal, the mayor of the jurisdiction.

Leal also thanked the workers who are carrying out actions in favor of the stability and tranquility of the inhabitants of the area, given the arrival of the rainy season.
