Governor of La Guaira sworn in 41 state police officers

These officials will join the 73 Peace Quadrants

The governor of the state of La Guaira, José Alejandro Terán, presided over the inauguration ceremony of 41 new officials from the 22nd class of the La Guaira Police.

According to information issued by the Government, these officials will join the 73 Peace Quadrants distributed in the state's communal circuits, strengthening police care and presence within communities.

‎ “The important thing about this new police system is that when the people see you arrive they know that the solution to their problem is already there, because you are the heart, arms and soul of the Bolivarian Revolution. Commander Chávez dreamed of this humanist police that becomes a people to provide solutions, protect and, above all, guarantee peace in our communities,” said the Governor.

‎Asimismo, stressed that all police forces work under the same objective: to guarantee peace and defend national sovereignty.

‎ “We are training officials committed to a security paradigm close to the people, with a preventive, community approach and unrestricted respect for the Constitution and laws,” he concluded.

‎Con this new addition to the La Guaira Police reinforces its presence in communities, strengthening the joint work between the Popular Power and the security forces.
