The governor of the state of Miranda, Elio Serrano, during an assembly with the People's Power on the covered court of the Hurachafri Commune, in the La Bombilla sector, reported that 65% of community projects in the Petare parish focus on strengthening public services.

In a publication on the Miranda Government website, it states that among the most outstanding projects in this area are substantial improvements in water supply, housing rehabilitation and the strengthening of primary health infrastructure.

On the other hand, Serrano pointed out that Economic Transformation represents 35% of the remaining projects. This block is aimed at boosting the local economy through animal production plans and the promotion of new ventures, in order for communes to achieve optimal levels of self-sustainability and food sovereignty.

He also highlighted that the mobilization in Petare represents an example of organization, directly involving 90 communes and 755 communities that diagnosed their most urgent needs.

He also explained that the territorial deployment integrated more than 5,435 streets of the parish. In this regard, he stressed that participation is not just a voting act, but a previous process of debate that has resulted in the systematization of more than 630 project proposals, validated by the neighbors themselves in grassroots meetings.

For his part, the mayor of the Sucre municipality, Diógenes Lara, stressed that the electoral logistics for next March 08 are already operational. For this process, 177 polling stations and 200 voting stations have been set up, strategically distributed throughout Petare.

The person responsible for the Antonio José de Sucre Plan, Pedro Infante, recalled that more than 3,000 community works were carried out in the Mirandine territory thanks to the consultations carried out; while approximately 36,000 works were carried out throughout the national territory.
