The state of Miranda currently has 80,000 productive hectares of 120 cultivable hectares throughout the region.
This was reported by the governor of the entity, Elio Serrano, during the interview given on the Al Aire program broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión.
He also assured that they are working to make the 40,000 hectares (remaining) productive as well.
Serrano emphasized that the coffee tradition was recovered in Miranda, and in the last six years at each exhibition fair, the territorial entity has occupied the first places in the production of this category.
“We expect that in the November harvest we will have the availability of 10,000 quintals of coffee production,” said the governor.
On the other hand, it reported that 120 schools were recovered in a joint effort with the Foundation for Educational Buildings, an agency attached to the Ministry of People's Power for Education.
“Local governments have been incorporated into the rehabilitation of educational establishments, just as they have been renewed through projects in the National Popular Consultations,” he said.
Regarding the drinking water service in the Mirandina entity, he said that he plans to achieve 100 water wells in order to guarantee vital liquid to the Mirandina population.
“We have been reactivating the number of wells that currently allow these areas to have a water supply, especially in the Barlovento area,” added the Governor.
