GPPSB candidates confirmed their commitment to indigenous communities in Essequibo

This Tuesday, May 6, a meeting was held in San Martín de Turumban g, in the state of Guiana Esequiba, where the indigenous community of this area received the candidate for governor Neil Villamizar, together with the candidates for the National Assembly (AN), the Legislative Council, and representatives of the organizations of the GPPSB, the National Indian Council of Venezuela (CONIVE) and the International Forum on Evaluation for Development (FIED).

The representatives of the GPPSB reaffirmed their commitment to providing concrete answers to each of these demands.

The day, reported on the website of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), was marked by direct dialogue with the inhabitants, who raised their priority needs related to education, health, mining, transportation (ambulance), sports, road recovery and electricity supply.

In his presentation, Villamizar assured that he listened to each proposal and they will be addressed, while stressing the importance of working together with communities to ensure the integral development of the region.

In response, the attendees expressed their support for the candidates and promised to choose the winning option in the next elections.
