Gran Misión Ciencia deployed a comprehensive social care approach in communes of Anzoátegui

The Great Science, Technology and Innovation Mission Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán carried out a simultaneous deployment of comprehensive social care in the rural communes of Pototucual and Bergantín, belonging to the Simón Bolívar municipality of the Anzoátegui state, with the purpose of strengthening local productive capacities and consolidating the good life of Eastern families through sovereign knowledge.

During the activity, according to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology, training stations were installed aimed at boosting the economy of the area under a sustainable approach.

In this regard, the specialists provided technical advice to land committees and local producers on the use of sustainable agricultural technologies, bioinputs and the preservation of environmental ecosystems in planting areas.

In addition, girls, boys and young people from the community participated in recreational activities on robotics, chemistry and microscopy, to encourage scientific vocations from an early age.

Through this deployment, the scientific sector transferred its capabilities directly to the field, offering development alternatives that are based on national inventiveness and the optimization of its own resources.
