Gran Misión Viva Venezuela and Ministry of Culture define roadmap for 2026

Among the agreements reached, the protection of cultural heritage stands out

Representatives of the Gran Misión Viva Venezuela Mi Patria Querida and the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture held a working meeting to define a joint agenda aimed at strengthening national identity and promoting traditional and contemporary artistic expressions in the country.

The meeting was led by Tarek William Saab and the Minister of Culture, Raúl Cazal, together with members of the National Promoting Team and cultural authorities, who presented the guidelines for this new organizational phase.

During the meeting, Saab highlighted that the plans planned for 2026 will be aligned with the eight vertices of the Great Mission, created to promote the country's different artistic and cultural disciplines. “For us it is a commitment to fulfill the more than half a million registered growers,” he said.

He also noted that the program covers areas such as dance, music, theater, literature, visual arts, architecture, gastronomy and crafts, with the purpose of preserving and projecting Venezuelan cultural manifestations.

For his part, Cazal stated that “the new times impose on us new ways of doing cultural politics” and insisted on the need to consolidate policies built together with Popular Power and organized communities throughout the national territory.

Among the agreements reached, the protection of cultural heritage and the strengthening of Venezuelan traditions stand out as tools for encounter and social cohesion.
