Great Agrourban Fair 2024 is held at Banavih headquarters in Chacao

The objective is to progressively serve all institutions within the framework of the Venezuela Eat Fish operation

The Ministry of the Popular Power of Urban Agriculture (MINPPAU) together with the Ministry of the Popular Power of Fisheries and Aquaculture (Minesca) developed a social care plan through the Agrourban Sovereignty Fair 2024, to serve workers from the National Bank for Housing and Habitat (Banavih) located in the municipality of Chacao in the Bolivarian state of Miranda.

In this regard, Jesús Peña, general manager of Production and Supply of the Venezuelan Corporation for Urban and Periurban Agriculture, pointed out that with more than 500 kilograms of items including vegetables, eggs and pork, it was possible to supply the workers of Banavih.

“These products were mostly harvested at the Fabricio Ojeda Endogenous Development Center (Nudefo), these days will make it permanent in that institution,” he stressed.

In addition, Alexis Navarro, coordinator of the Venezuelan Fisheries and Aquaculture Corporation, pointed out what they provided to Banavih workers in the Chacao municipality, in order to provide them with fish protein, at affordable prices.

“Our objective is to progressively serve all institutions within the framework of the Venezuela Eat Fish operation, led by our president Nicolás Maduro,” said Navarro.

For her part, Arelis Sánchez, manager of Human Resources at Banavih, said she was grateful to the organization of the Fair. “They have visited us several times and with the expectation of helping all workers, both active and retired personnel, to purchase products at a more affordable and quality price.”
