Guacharas de Monagas are named champions in the first edition of the Women's Professional Volleyball League

The Guacharas de Monagas team has reached the highest level at the Gastón Portillo gymnasium in La Vega to win Sport Caracas Voley 0-3 (23/25, 25/27 and 22/25) and become champions of the first edition of the Women's Professional Volleyball League.

The Monaguenses destroyed the Caraquista blockade and the imposing stature of the central Isabel Fernández (Car), who could not withstand the power of the Orientals, led by the Colombian Aleja Torres.

John Sequera, coach of the Guacharas team, celebrated the mental effort of his managers: “We did a good mental job and came to the big favorites in this league. But today we work more efficiently and we put pressure on them and that influenced the girls,” explained the Venezuelan technical director of Guacharas.

The players Aleja Torres (MVP) and Johenlis Belisario were the most outstanding on the offensive for Guacharas, while for Sport Caracas Voley, B runa Neri and Reibeth Artigas stood out.
