In a joint effort aimed at consolidating food sovereignty in the Llanera region, the communal structures of the Leonardo Infante municipality of the Guárico state formally joined the 2026 Agrifood Plan.
From the local storage sheds, producers and community spokespersons began receiving agricultural inputs and fuel needed for this corn planting cycle, a strategic initiative supported by the National Government to protect the productive system and guarantee the right to food of every Venezuelan family.
The operational deployment in the collection areas evidenced the popular articulation and the optimal organizational level of the peasant sectors of the entity, who already have the spokesperson and the material ready to go to the fields.
Through this massive planting plan, the National Executive seeks to leverage primary production from the ground up, by providing farmers and associations with the technical tools, seeds and fertilizers necessary to optimize yields per hectare, by transforming Guárico's agricultural potential into a cutting-edge economic engine.
The mayor of the municipality, Cristian Norato, said that, with the timely distribution of these technical resources and fuel, it will be guaranteed that every infantino and infantina has support on their tables, recognizing the leading role played by community members in stabilizing local supply channels.
