Guárico Government consolidates Road Safety to promote economic and social development

The transformation of road infrastructure in the state of Guárico is progressing under the strategic vision of the governor of the entity, Donald Donaire, who, through the Road Rehabilitation Plan, is committed to unwavering road safety, guaranteeing not only traffic, but also the economic and social development of the region.

In publications published by the Government of Guárico, on its account on the social network Instagram, it points out that during a recent operational day, the municipality of Chaguaramas became the focal point of these tasks.

Through the company Construvialgua and the Ministry of Works and Public Services, the installation of more than 175 tons of hot asphalt mixture was carried out.

This intervention covered nerve points such as the perimeter road, essential for the flow of heavy cargo, several internal streets of the parish, directly improving the quality of life of the neighbors.

On the other hand, in a sustained effort to optimize the urban infrastructure of the Francisco de Miranda municipality, a road maintenance day was carried out in the Calabozo parish, focused on the recovery of passability through the use of high-durability asphalt technology.

The technical deployment began with the logistic mobilization and transportation of hot asphalt mixture from the production plant, in order to ensure that the material arrived at the ideal temperature to ensure proper compaction and adhesion.

The operational process in the streets of the parish began with a rigorous sanitation of the area to be intervened, where crews removed sediment and remains of old pavement to prepare the base, a preliminary and fundamental step to the application of adhesion irrigation.

This chemical component made it possible to seal the surface and guarantee the perfect bond between the ground and the new material, which made it easier to supply and install a total of 18 tons of asphalt, which were strategically distributed in several discontinuous sections that showed greater deterioration.

These tasks, focused on the lightweight patching technique, make it possible to correct irregularities in a timely and effective manner, extend the useful life of avenues and significantly improve traffic flow for residents of Calabozo.
