Guárico Government delivers inputs within the framework of the 2024 Community Peasant Plan

The Government of Guárico provided financing and agricultural inputs, as part of the 2024 Community Peasant Plan, to more than 600 farmers in the Juan José Rondón municipality (Las Mercedes del Llano).

Field workers were favored with seeds, biofertilizers, urea, corn cleaner and other resources destined to plant more than 2,500 hectares of cereals and other items.

As reported by the local government, this is the fifth installment of the peasant plan, approved through the Federal Government Council.

The fundamental objective is to boost food production in the region, reduce dependence on imports, strengthen the local economy, seek improvements for farmers' quality of life and promote community participation in rural development.
