Misión Cultura Guárico, together with the Government and the Mayor's Office of the Sebastián Francisco de Miranda municipality, invites the country's writers to the third edition of the National Short Story Festival 2026. Those interested present their unpublished works until July 30, in order to participate in a day of cultural exchange scheduled for August 15.
The call is open to Venezuelan citizens over 15 years of age, who must submit texts under a pseudonym to ensure the transparency of the process. The works require a maximum length of eight pages in Arial 12 format and 1.5 line spacing, in addition to a narrative structure that includes beginning, climax and end. The organization automatically disqualifies any obscene or discriminatory content.
The authors send their personal data separately to protect anonymity during the evaluation. To formalize the application or request information, interested parties write to [email protected], call 0416-9942318 and 0412-6813872, or consult the Facebook page Misión Cultur a Guárico.
