Head of State celebrates adoption by the UN of the World Day for Combating Coercive Measures

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, welcomed the decision of the United Nations (UN) to establish December 4 as a day to denounce all kinds of coercive and criminal measures against Peoples by Imperialism.

“We have received great, hopeful news; the United Nations has recognized the Venezuelan proposal and those of us who are part of the Group Defenders of the UN Charter, the Resolution has been approved to reject any type of unilateral sanction, and in addition, the World Day for the Fight against Unilateral Coercive Measures has been created, since December 4 of this year 2025,” said the President.

“Great victory for those of us who resist being slaves and colonies!” , exclaimed about this adoption, which places on the international agenda the debate on the negative impact of unilateral coercive measures and which constitute a flagrant violation of the Charter of the United Nations.
