Head of State confirms economic growth: We are in optimal conditions to face new challenges

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, ratified this Wednesday the country's economic growth during the year 2025, despite the blockade imposed by the United States (USA) and its allies.

“We are continuing to take firm steps towards a diversified, productive and exporting economy of a profoundly nationalist nature,” said the Head of State during his New Year's Eve message to the Venezuelan people.

He stressed that the nation “greatly overcame that rentier mentality that prevailed in twentieth-century capitalism and which functioned as a doctrine of dependence and domination of oil revenues. Today we have 14 economic engines that are advancing simultaneously, linked with a method and a strategic vision,” he emphasized.

“We eat what we produce and we are increasingly beginning to export products from land and sea to large world markets, that is the way forward. The growth numbers of our real economy under conditions of siege, attack and imperialist blockade confirm a greater truth,” he said.

The Dignitary reiterated that “we are overcoming the siege imposed a decade ago and we are in optimal conditions to face all the new challenges with more preparation, more work, more creativity, more experience and the perfect union of an entire country that produces and works”.
