The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted this Tuesday the importance of the formation of police forces for the protection of the People, which is why Commander Hugo Chávez founded the National Security University, based on the new humanist doctrine.

From Paseo Los Próceres, in Caracas, during the graduation, promotion and award ceremony of the Bolivarian National Police (CPNB), within the framework of National Police Day, the Chief of State pointed out that this house of studies was created “to guarantee training before and during the development of the police career.”

“Young generation of police of all bodies, Bolivarian National Police, CICPC, National Anti-Corruption Police, state police, municipal police, everyone should know that it was the most important historical decision for Venezuela to walk, as we are walking, the path of building its own citizen security system, the creation of a university with the highest scientific level, with the highest academic level, with the highest moral level, for that you are trained in all the magnitude throughout the trajectory of the police career,” he said.

In this regard, the President urged members of the police forces not to rest “not a minute of their entire police career to forge, to train, to learn, to become professional, so that Venezuela has more and more of the best police in the entire world, the best police of all time (...) We must forge and persevere”.
