Head of State considered satisfactory meetings with leaders of several nations during his visit to Russia

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, expressed his satisfaction with the opportunity to hold various meetings with leaders of various nations during his visit to Russia, where he participated in the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War in the Russian Federation.

In this regard, during the 79th edition of the Con Maduro+ program, the head of state summarized the above-mentioned meetings, including the one he held with the leader of Chechnya, Kadyrov Ramzan, with whom he said he agreed on plans for strengthening and cooperation.

He also indicated that “we spoke with a great, young leader from Burkina Faso, Ibrahim Traoré”.

“This youth is the hope of Africa, so that Western empires no longer meddle with their colonialist hands to plunder Africa,” he emphasized.

The head of state mentioned that in the company of the President of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, “we pay honors in the equestrian sculpture of El Libertador Simon Bolivar, in Moscow.”

“We also reviewed the plans together with sister Cuba. We decided to deepen the cultural relationship. The Great Mission Viva Venezuela My Homeland Wanted, arrives in Cuba and that this exchange intensifies,” he stressed.

He said that he also spoke with the President of Kazakhstan, Kasim-Yomart Tokayev, “we are working on expanding a joint cooperation agenda”, in order to strengthen energy agreements of mutual interest.

Another meeting highlighted by the National President was the one he held with the Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church, Cyril of Moscow.

He indicated that with the Patriarch “we talked about Christian history. Exciting topics of faith, values and society”.

On the other hand, he announced that the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, granted 200 new scholarships so that young Venezuelans can study at the best universities in the Russian nation.

President Maduro highlighted the admiration of the leaders present for the people of Venezuela.
