President Nicolás Maduro Moros, during the Con Maduro+ program, announced the holding of the Popular Communication Congress “Tanks of Communal Thought”, this coming March 11 and 12 in the Venezuelan capital, which seeks to strengthen revolutionary communication and combat the digital manipulation of global capitalism from the territories and with its protagonists.

For this purpose, in this first experience, a thousand digital, community and alternative communicators are convened from all over the territory with a territorial-communal approach, to implement the decolonizing and creative method proposed by President Nicolás Maduro, to consolidate a new paradigm of popular communication.

The proposal includes creating a horizontal instance of broad articulation, to think about technological changes in communication from our own doctrines and to act organized and strategically in the digital field

“This principle is still in force and is strengthened by the Streets, Networks, Media, Walls and Radio Bemba method, which promotes deconcentrated communication,” said the national president.

The “Community Thinking Tanks” (TPC), in the first instance, focuses on digital literacy, technological sovereignty and the fight against algorithmic manipulation, through an approach based on positive, organizational and psychological values, and aims to make our people aware of the harmful dimension of these technologies used by Western powers and provides alternatives for their correct use.

An integrative space not only for popular communicators, alternative media and community communication spokespersons, but also for the entire people, because it is a system of ongoing formation that aims to protect the family from this new form of alienation that targets young people.
