The President (E) of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, expressed the deep regret of the Bolivarian Revolution at the physical departure of teacher Renato Aguirre González, the “Diamond Poet”.
The president in charge assured that the entire Homeland loses one of the most talented composers in its history, who with his virtuosity and love for the land bequeathed iconic themes that today are fundamental pillars of national identity and cultural sovereignty.
He also recalled that in Aguirre's raised song, the lyric and the four merge into a single voice, resonating with indomitable force in the collective memory of Venezuela as a testimony of love for what is ours.
In this regard, Rodríguez sent a fraternal embrace to family, friends and the people of Zuliano. “His legacy marked generations and gave voice to the feelings of a people that today honor him with pride.”
