The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, stressed that the extreme right coup is trying to stir up a movement of opinion with a story that covers those who they move within the country or from outside.

He specified that the revolutionary government has captured several foreign mercenaries who cover themselves with a human rights defender's card and what “they come to kill in Venezuela and then they raise an opinion movement there, in Europe.

He criticized those who now defend them and who have been silent in the face of the massacre of boys and girls in the attacks in Gaza, in the face of the massacre of the people of Lebanon, Syria, and in the face of kidnapping and forced disappearance in concentration camps in El Salvador”, where 253 Venezuelans are being held hostage.
