The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during the 79th edition of his Con Maduro+ program, assured that commercial cooperation in the field of hydrocarbons between Venezuela and Russia is generating results, which means the alliance of two major oil and gas producers in the world.
“We are making progress in bilateral agreements with one of the two oil powers in the world, of the oil giants to shore up energy investment that in other times for different reasons were left behind and are now a very important element for the high-level Intergovernmental Commission Russia Venezuela, which is the joint commission founded by Commander Chávez and President Putin on December 14, 2001,” stressed the head of state.
He stressed that in this last phase of the relationship in oil and gas it is yielding new results thanks to the contribution of the Minister for Petroleum, Delcy Rodríguez, as well as the one in charge of President Putin for this issue, vice-president of the government of the Russian Federation, Dmitri Chernyshenko, who have presented advances in this sector, which according to the president works like a clock.
