Head of State: It has never been seen that a country declare trade war on 180 countries in the world

The Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, assured that “it has never been seen that a country declare trade war on 180 countries of the world”. He said this, referring to the actions of the US administration against the world's economies.

In his program With Maduro+, he pointed out that the United States has taken a stand against China, which is the most important emerging power that humanity has today.

He stressed that since the signing, between China and Venezuela in September 2023, to elevate the strategic partnership to a “Strategic Partnership for Every Test and For All Time, bilateral relations with the Asian nation have intensified. From that moment on, what we have done is to deepen all investment relationships, exchange, learning, strengthening products that are positioning themselves in domestic trade in the Chinese market.”

President Maduro highlighted the importance of the relationship between Venezuela and China, following the recent visit of the executive vice president, Delcy Rodríguez, to the Asian country, who carried out a working visit to continue taking care of the details of the entire China-Venezuela economic articulation process.
