The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, said on Monday that the new unilateral coercive measures imposed by the United States (USA) against 16 senior Venezuelan officials, including 4 commanders of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), are part of the relaunch of the gringo strategy of “maximum pressure”, which now has the extremist María Corina Machado as its head.

“ We have already seen this film of maximum pressure and maximum pressure has a large psychological component,” warned the Head of State during the Digital Zone segment of his show Con Maduro+, issue number 57.

He stressed that the US Government “intends, through psychological blackmail, to fill a country, institutions, leaders of all public powers with anxiety; not only the population, but also the leaders of the public authorities.”

The Dignitary noted that since July 31, the White House threatened that there would be sanctions, “after fascism was defeated at the ballot box and in the streets. These publicly listed sanctions were requested by María Machado, head of Venezuelan fascism, called for new sanctions against Venezuela, against the country and specifically she is responsible for all the threats and all the psychological campaign that exists, without a doubt,” he denounced.
