Head of State: On April 13 and 14, the miracle of the popular and military rebellion occurred

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, led this Monday a meeting with the candidates of the Great Patriotic Pole Simón Bolívar, for the upcoming elections, from where he commemorated 23 years of the Popular Victory.

“Today marks the 23rd anniversary of the day we rescued our Commander President Hugo Chávez alive, safe and sound, the day when the people consolidated the victory against the coup d'etat that the gringos in Venezuela intended to carry out,” he said.

In this regard, he assured that on that date the “miracle of the popular military rebellion against the FEDECÁMARAS coup d'etat and imperialism against Commander President Hugo Rafael Chávez” occurred.

He also noted that it is also 12 years since his election as the first Chavista president, adding that “we have a homeland, truly true, in an advanced phase of consolidation and permanent struggle,” while assuring that he has not failed as leader of the Revolution.
