This Wednesday, February 25, the President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reported that the Bolivarian Government has reinforced vaccination against yellow fever in Venezuela in the face of an outbreak in our region.

In this regard, from the Miraflores Palace, after concluding a meeting with representatives of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), it was emphasized that “we are strengthening the vaccination process for Venezuela, mainly in 22 prioritized parishes in four states, in the states of Aragua, Lara, Barinas and Portuguesa, 22 prioritized parishes where we are calling for vaccination to those who have never been vaccinated against fever yellow, between 1 and 59 years old”.

In this context, the president in charge urged the people of these entities, “if you have never been vaccinated, well, let's go right now, it's time to get vaccinated and there I call for cooperation, for the governors, for the governors, for mayors, for all the institutional structures of the Venezuelan State.”

“Community circuits must also be activated in this vaccination process and that in addition to the vaccination process, if we are active in eliminating the breeding grounds for mosquito larvae that transmit this and other diseases, we must be very careful that we can eliminate them permanently,” he said.
