During the Digital Zone segment of the Con Maduro+ program, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted the remarkable growth of the pharmaceutical market, which grew by 14.6% in March 2025 compared to the same month of the previous year.
This growth is not only an indicator of recovery, but it also reflects the government's systematic effort to strengthen a sector vital to public health. “This is part of the economic effort of the 13 Motors,” said the head of state.
He highlighted the reduction of the shortage, which once reached 90%, to a 100% supply of drugs in the country. “90% of pharmaceutical products are made in Venezuela,” he said.
