Head of State ratified call to unite the peoples and soldiers of the country and Colombia in defense of peace

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, this Thursday, December 18, ratified his call to the People and the military of Colombia, to “join the People and the military of Venezuela to defend sovereignty as a single Army and a single People.”
“Today I ratify the call for unity to defend the right to peace, to the sovereignty of two Homelands that are daughters of the Sword of Bolivar,” he emphasized in Miranda state, where he led the comprehensive rehabilitation of the Mariche Metrocable System.
He argued that “no one takes me out of this approach because if one day our sister Colombi were attacked, here she would be without hesitation, without guabineo, without hesitation, the Venezuelan homeland defending Colombia.”
“Colombia and Venezuela united in a single flag,” he said.
In that regard, he reaffirmed the importance of the union of peoples as a fundamental principle for the defense of sovereignty and peace.
The head of state stated that in response to his call, “I have received messages of support”.
