The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, rejected the sanctions of the United States government against the company Chevron for exploiting oil in Venezuela and the support that national and international fascism has given to this action that seeks to harm the people of Venezuela.

“The fascist, Sayona criminal, has supported the Exxon Movil and the nefarious government of Guyana, which has handed over the sovereignty of the Guyanese people, and 24 hours after this serious, criminal incident against the homeland, the US government allows itself to be carried away by this reduced right wing and extremist, and sanctions the North American company Chevron, which has 100 years of uninterrupted oil exploitation in Venezuela,” said the Head of State.

He added that the Bolivarian Revolution, within the framework of our Constitution and the Law, achieved good agreements with Chevron. However, she was sanctioned.

“They are trying to harm the Venezuelan economy, but they are hurting themselves by sanctioning this North American company. For this reason, I activated the Absolute Productive Independence Plan, because nothing and no one is going to stop us,” said the National President.

He also highlighted that “87% of Venezuelans reject these sanctions. We will face these disturbances and we will win. Rest assured that this will be the case!”
