Head of State repudiates attack against former President Donald Trump: What will be behind this?

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, repudiated the attack against the former president and candidate for re-election of the United States, Donald Trump.

“This man who tried to assassinate the former president of the United States is a man of the system. What will be behind this? Already after the first attack, the protection failures that existed are public and notorious, and I tell you that I know enough about assassination attempts that have been carried out against me and that I am being persecuted by the US Government and Colombian paramilitaries every day of my life, and I can practically understand that behind all this there is something very dangerous that is intended against the president and candidate Donald Trump,” said the Head of State

In that vein, he stated that from Venezuela we repudiate this assassination attempt and I tell Trump to “demand and direct the personal investigation of this. Let the truth be known about who gives the order, directs and moves the pieces for events. I wish you health and long life, so that you can do the projects that touch you in life. It is not violence that should dominate the lives of our countries, it must be respect and peace,” he concluded.
