Head of State: The powerful countries that have polluted the most have deceived the world

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during the launch of the great Mother Earth Venezuela Mission, assured that the world's leading powers with their highly polluting industries have not fulfilled any of their commitments to control their emissions to stop climate change.

“The powerful countries that have polluted the most have deceived the world. Today they deny climate change, the deniers, they have taken power in North America and Europe, they promise more pollution,” stressed the Head of State.

In this regard, he called from Venezuela to demonstrate that we are preparing for a climate emergency, with this new mission “Mother Earth Venezuela”.

He also highlighted that national authorities and especially Civil Protection have been deployed in states that have been affected by the rains.

“We are covering all areas, ensuring that nothing is missing. In the perfect union of the people, the military and the police,” he said.
