The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, confirmed that the extreme right uses various communication channels to create content and campaigns to “stigmatize the noble and decent migration from Venezuela abroad.”

The statement was made by the head of state, referring to the campaign being deployed by the United States government, through the international radio station the Voice of America (VOA), which “is the portal of the White House, it is Juan González's”.

He argued that the right wing says that “Venezuelan migration to the United States are criminals. Who says that? Julio Borges, Machado, the US government,” he emphasized.

“That people that had to migrate as a result of criminal sanctions, economic suffocation, brutal blockade, is a noble, humble, hardworking people,” he said and stressed that “we love Venezuelan migrants and our love makes us say: Come back, we wait for you, this is your land, enough of xenophobia and persecution.”

The statement was made in the program of the 10th Anniversary of Con el Mazo Dando, held at the La Montaña Barracks, led by the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, from where he denounced that in the VOA they create content, launch it, replicate it dozens of portals, news agencies, media of the right wing and the world system in Latin America and the world”.
