Head of State: Venezuela's glorious DGCIM “knew it and could do everything”

The Commander-in-Chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, emphasized that the Directorate of Military Counterintelligence (DGCIM), “has known and has been able to do everything, we have to talk about the glorious heroic DGCIM of Venezuela.”

In this regard, he highlighted the quality and efficiency of the DGCIM, although “in the world you can talk about the M-16, you can talk about the CIA, the Mossad and you can also talk about the efficient historical Russian services, the KGB”.

The statement was made during the promotion ceremony of the personnel of Professional Troops and Officers attached to the Presidential Honor Guard (GHP) and the Military Counterintelligence Directorate (DGCIM), in which he said that “I am honored, General in Chief Vladimir Padrino, General in Chief Hernández Larez, major generals and admirals, and commanders of the Army, my beloved Aviation, the Militia Bolivarian Military, on this Christmas Day, lead this event”.

The head of state ratified his recognition of “this great family of the Honor Guard, the military family that defends peace and guarantees the stability of the present and the construction of the prosperity of the future”.

“It's the Honor Guard, who looked after our beloved Commander Hugo Chávez, in a loyal, jealous and efficient manner,” he recalled.
