Minister Cabello oversaw security deployment in Caracas and Altos Mirandinos: The People enjoy Christmas in peace (+photos)

This Saturday, December 13, following instructions from the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, the Sectorial Vice President of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, took a tour to monitor the checkpoints and night patrols in the city of Caracas and Los Teques, in Miranda state.

“We have been going around other places and the situation is exactly the same, of tranquility, people enjoying their parties, their rumba, their joy,” he said.

“Counterbalancing the psychological terrorism that some places have wanted to promote against our people, specifically, North American imperialism,” he emphasized.

He commented that everything is quiet, “the people taking the photos, the children. This is the festival of joy in Venezuela. The festival of peace and quiet”.

Cabello highlighted the courage of the Venezuelan people and the awareness demonstrated in these months of increased siege and imperialist aggressions.

“The pirates of the Caribbean, the filibusters, the thieves of our wealth, of our oil, which is the oil of our people, do all this to try to frighten us, but this people are not afraid of anyone,” he said.

In addition, the Minister of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, reaffirmed that “the People are very clear with a higher conscience and know that they can have fun, but the time to be called to defend the Homeland will be paramount, on the front line”.

Cabello spoke with the officials who were on duty and thanked them for their work for the peace of mind of the citizens.

He said that the family enjoys security, as do the fellow entrepreneurs who have their stalls selling food and sweets.
