Here's the schedule! PSUV will hold meetings to consult its bases on a proposal for a presidential candidate

Regarding the announcement by the National Electoral Council (CNE) about the date of the presidential elections, the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) convened its grassroots structures to hold meetings across the country to collect the presidential candidate's proposal through the red curtain.

“The 269,069 street structures must be brought together across the country. The four colleagues who are in each street structure must hold their assembly,” Cabello explained during a PSUV press conference.

In this regard, we share the work schedule established by the PSUV to hold the meetings:

  • Thursday, March 7
    Assemblies of the Street Structures

  • Friday, March 8
    Assemblies of Community Structures

  • Saturday, March 9
    Assemblies of
    the structures of the Bolivar and Chávez Battle Units (UBCH)

  • Sunday, March 10
    Systematization of proposals

  • Monday, March 11
    Assemblies of State, Municipal and Parish Political Teams

  • Friday, March 15 Extraordinary
    Congress of the PSUV

It is important to highlight that for this Process of Consultation, Debate and Nomination of the Candidate, the PSUV is based on Article 67 of the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, on democratic principles; on Article 6 of the Statutes of the PSUV, on the methods of Internal Democracy; and on Article 30 of the Statutes of the PSUV, the Socialist Congress.
