In a speech given last Tuesday, the Secretary General of the Lebanese Islamic Resistance Movement (Hezbollah), Seyed Hasan Nasralah, on the occasion of the third day of the month of Muharram (the first month of the Muslim calendar), reiterated the Resistance's support for the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the continuation of attacks against Israeli positions.
“Hezbollah will continue with the operations it has been carrying out [against Israeli positions] since October 8 until the desired objectives are achieved on all fronts of support,” Nasralah said at the Seyed al-Shuhada complex, in the Dahiyeh neighborhood of southern Beirut (the Lebanese capital).
The head of Hezbollah made it clear that his group will never change its pro-Palestinian stance or give up its continued fight against the Zionist regime in Israel. Nor will Hezbollah abdicate its responsibilities for Palestine in the face of Israeli threats to declare war on Lebanon, Nasrallah added.
The top leader of Hezbollah repudiated the Israeli army for having obstructed the entry of supplies and humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip over the past few weeks, which has intensified the medical and humanitarian crisis.
