HIDROVEN repaired strategic pipeline at Maturín's Bajo Guarapiche water treatment plant

The Bolivarian Government, through the Venezuelan Hydrological Company (HIDROVEN), successfully completed the repair of a 24-inch diameter interconnection pipe in the state of Monagas, the Ministry of Popular Water Power (MINAGUAS) reported on its website.

It highlights that this infrastructure is essential since it supplies drinking water from the Bajo Guarapiche plant to the Alto Guri network, making it possible to maintain a constant, optimal and efficient service for more than 80,000 families in the Maturín municipality.

This maneuver, carried out in record time, involved the specialized intervention of technical and hydraulic engineering personnel, in addition to the deployment of high-power equipment that was necessary to meet the contingency presented and stabilize the distribution system immediately.

As part of the comprehensive plan to improve the water system in the eastern state, MINAGUAS carries out, with specialized personnel, the replacement of 400 meters of 73-millimeter pipe in the chlorine gas dosing system.

This action has the purpose of generating a greater and more precise injection of the chemical substances necessary to ensure the highest standards in the process of purifying the water received by the people of Monaguense.

MINAGUAS and HIDROVEN confirm their commitment to strengthening the water system in the state of Monagas and throughout the national territory, moving steadily towards the optimization of public services.
