Honduras ordered the withdrawal of diplomats in Ecuador for actions against Mexico

This Wednesday, the President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador (USA), during his morning press conference, that all the countries of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) support his country after the assault on the embassy in Quito, Ecuador.

The government of Honduras informed President López Obrador that it will withdraw its diplomatic staff from Ecuador as a sign of support for Mexico after the break-in at its embassy in Quito on April 5.

“The meeting was convened by the president of Honduras, Xiomara Castro and, at the end, she notified me that they too are going to show solidarity and are going to call their diplomatic representatives, nothing more than she could not say so. In other words, this is nothing more the case in Venezuela and we thank them very much,” said López Obrador.
