Viktor Orbán, Prime Minister of Hungary, said on Thursday that he will not support any decision of the European Union (EU) in favor of Kiev until oil is allowed to pass through the Druzhba pipeline
“We would like to obtain from the Ukrainians the oil that is ours and that is (...) blocked by the Ukrainians. I will never support any kind of decision here that favors Ukraine (as long as) Hungarians cannot get the oil that belongs to us,” said the Hungarian Prime Minister when he arrived at the EU summit in Brussels.
According to information detailed by Sputnik, the leader added that the situation surrounding the Druzhba oil pipeline is no longer a political issue, but an existential one, because without crude oil “Hungarian companies will be bankrupt”.
“It's not a joke, it's not a political game. Zelenski should understand that it's not a game. It's absolutely existential for Hungarians,” Orban concluded.
