Hydrocarbons Minister Paula Henao oversaw operations of the Orinoco Oil Belt in Anzoátegui

As part of an important work agenda in the state of Anzoátegui, the Minister of Popular Power for Hydrocarbons, Paula Henao, held a meeting with workers from the Orinoco Oil Belt, Hugo Chávez, whom she praised as fundamental pillars in the growth of national production, which currently exceeds 1,200,000 barrels of oil per day.
The meeting, held at the Aquiles Nazoa Auditorium of the San Tomé Educational Unit, brought together the staff of the ministerial body and Petrleos de Venezuela, S.A. (PDVSA), belonging to the Junín, Ayacucho and Carabobo blocks.
During her speech, Henao conveyed the recognition of the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, to the working class that provides significant volumes of production thanks to their effort, commitment and professional quality.
He also highlighted the benefits of the Partial Reform of the Organic Law on Hydrocarbons, aimed at attracting international and domestic private investment, optimizing the tax burden and modernizing marketing schemes to guarantee the development of the nation and the well-being of the population.
Within the framework of this operational agenda, the Minister of Hydrocarbons led a technical panel at the Bare Operational Center (COB) of the Ayacucho Division, a strategic facility for the treatment and dispatch of extra heavy crude oil from the Orinoco Oil Belt.
