In order to guarantee an optimal, safe and reliable service, the first phase of rehabilitation was successfully carried out on road 2 of the Caracas “Libertador Simón Bolívar” Terminal Station, by the working class of the State Railways Institute (IFE).

The president of the IFE, Bianca Araujo, who was present to oversee the work, highlighted the high level of commitment of the railway workforce.

“Our working class once again demonstrates its capacity to execute large scale works efficiently, providing timely answers to ensure the safe mobility of the Venezuelan people,” he said.

The technical conference was attended by more than 30 specialists from the areas of control, railways, electrification, stations and security, under the direct supervision of the authorities of the railway system.

During the deployment, specialized personnel carried out complex electrification maneuvers aimed at the complete restoration of the catenary system, the adjustment of key components and the correct electrical layout of the conductor cable.

These tasks were executed strategically, without affecting the operability or commercial service of the users.

Araujo said that these actions respond directly to the guidelines of the President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, and the Minister of People's Power for Transportation, Jacqueline Faria, focused on the modernization and optimization of the national railway system.
