In Aragua! Dr. José Carabaño Tosta Hospital has six new operating rooms

The Dr. José María Carabaño Tosta Regional General Hospital in the Girardot municipality of Aragua state has six state-of-the-art operating rooms and a modern intensive care unit (ICU), as part of the comprehensive rehabilitation of this type IV health center.
In addition, the rehabilitation of these spaces included the provision of state-of-the-art technology in two recovery rooms, pre-anesthesia areas, warehouses and administrative offices.
The inauguration of these spaces was led by the governor of Aragua, Joana Sánchez, who explained that the provision of these spaces directly benefited more than 127,000 citizens. With the launch of the wards, the hospital estimated a 300% increase in its surgical resolution capacity to meet the healthcare demand of the Aragüeña state and surrounding areas. In addition, the new ICU added six hospital beds and a caumatology unit for patients with burns.
This hospital consolidated its position as the second most important health center in the region with more than 20 free medical specialties serving the people.
