In an atmosphere of calm, camaraderie and joy, the process of nominating candidates of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) took place in the state of Cojedes for the elections on May 25.

As in the entire country, the process began at 2 in the afternoon. From the 23 de Enero community in San Carlos, through a VTV report, it became known that the process was carried out with total organization.

“This is a wonderful democratic exercise. The participation has been smooth and the organization impeccable. They came out to participate without any pressure and without a line. The People are choosing their candidates in the highest expression of participatory democracy in the country's history,” said José Aponte.
