In the state of Aragua, revolutionary militancy participated in 1,799 popular assemblies to nominate those who they consider to be the standard-bearers of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) for the elections on May 25.
From the Pedro José Ovalles parish in Maracay, Minerva Noa, highlighted the massive participation of the people in this democratic day that began at 2 in the afternoon this Saturday but brought together the community before noon.
“This day has been carried out in accordance with the regulations, with total transparency,” Noa said in statements given to Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).
For her part, Luz Marina Rodríguez, highlighted the People's Power's support for President Nicolás Maduro. "On this day, the people are responding to our President Maduro. President, always count on us because we will always give you answers,” he said.
