The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (INAMEH) categorically denied the fake news about the alleged imminent impact of a tropical cyclone on Venezuelan territory.
The technical and official body responsible for meteorology in the country clarified that, after constant monitoring of weather conditions in the North Atlantic and the Caribbean Sea, there is no immediate threat of this nature to national coasts.
Through its official channels, INAMEH urged the population to remain calm, not to replicate information of dubious origin that seeks to generate anxiety and to consult only the meteorological bulletins issued by the competent authorities and the National Risk Management System.
