INAMEH forecasts precipitation-generating cloud cover

For this Sunday, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (INAMEH) forecasts cloud cover of varying intensity in Guayana Esequiba, Bolívar, Amazonas, Barinas, Portuguesa, Lara, Yaracuy, Mérida, Trujillo and south of Lake Maracaibo.

While in the afternoon and night, heavy showers with electrical activity are expected in Guayana Esequiba, Bolivar, Amazonas, the Andes and Zulia.

The institute does not rule out fragmented cloud cover with short-term rain or drizzle in mountain areas of Aragua, Miranda and the Capital District.
