INAMEH issues an alert for rains and electric shocks in several regions of the country

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (INAMEH) issued a weather warning this Sunday after recording the development of cloud cover that generates rainfall of varying intensity and electric shocks in various regions of the national territory.

According to the technical report presented by the agency, adverse weather conditions affect entities in the center, west and the Venezuelan Andes, including the states of Miranda, La Guaira, Aragua, Cojedes, Carabobo, Yaracuy, Falcón, Lara, Zulia, the Andean region and the Capital District.

The specialized body indicated that the presence of cloud cores and electrical activity will continue over these areas for the next two hours. The report was released at 16:30 (Local Time) in Venezuela with the purpose of preventing communities and activating monitoring protocols.

Finally, the authorities recommended that risk management bodies and citizens maintain vigilance in vulnerable sectors. They also urged the population to remain attentive to the evolution of climatic conditions through institutional channels.
