The Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Leticia Gómez, stressed that the National Institute of Tourism (INATUR) is promoting a new phase of strategic planning to strengthen the promotion of the state of Aragua as a first-rate destination, both nationally and internationally.

In this regard, he highlighted the meeting he held with the executive director of INATUR, José Perdomo and with Maritza Mendoza, of the State Unit in Aragua, with whom he addressed “actions to enhance local attractions and continue to advance in the promotion of Aragua as a national and international reference destination.”

In addition, at the meeting, they evaluated initiatives for the integrated promotion of the various destinations offered by the region, from its paradisiacal coasts to its majestic mountains and its rich historical and cultural heritage.

“The objective is to create a cohesive and competitive tourist offer that highlights Aragüeña's diversity,” he said.

It should be noted that the coordination between the national management and the state team is key to implementing projects that boost the local economy, so this meeting reinforces the institutional commitment to the sustainable development of the sector, to generate opportunities for communities by attracting investments that favor the entire population.
